Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the BeadersDreamRetreat.com website (the “Site”) and your participation in Beaders Dream Retreat events and Bead Cruise events (together, the “Events”). By using this Site, registering for any Event, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as any Event-specific policies listed on the registration pages and information emails.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

All in-person and virtual Beaders Dream Retreat events.
Bead Cruise retreat activities hosted in conjunction with our cruise partners.
Your use of the BeadersDreamRetreat.com website and any related online registration forms or communications.

Additional event-specific details (pricing, deadlines, schedules, hotel and cruise information, etc.) are provided on the individual registration pages and/or confirmation emails for each Event. In the event of any conflict, the Event-specific registration page and confirmation details will govern for that particular Event.

2. Event Registration & Payments

2.1 Registration Process

Your place at any Event is not confirmed until your registration has been received and the required deposit or full payment has been processed.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, including a valid email address, and for checking your email (and spam/junk folders) for confirmations and updates.
Please do not submit duplicate registrations. Duplicate entries can cause confusion and delay processing.

2.2 Beaders Dream Retreat (Land-Based Events)

Each Retreat page will list the current retreat fee, deposit amount, and final payment due date.
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space.
You may choose to pay in full once your registration has been confirmed, or follow the payment schedule described on the registration page.

2.3 Bead Cruise Events

Bead Cruise events are a joint experience that includes both a cruise portion and a retreat portion. Each has separate registration and payment requirements.

You must register for the cruise portion through the designated group travel advisor.
You must register for the retreat portion through Beaders Dream Retreat as described on BeadCruise.com.
Your spot on the Bead Cruise is only secured when both registrations (cruise and retreat) and the required deposits are received.
Cruise payments, booking terms, and certain fees (such as cruise deposits and administrative fees) are governed by the policies of the cruise line and the travel advisor.

2.4 Payment Methods

Retreat portion payments are processed via PayPal. We accept major credit cards as listed on the registration page.
Cruise portion payments are processed by the travel advisor and/or cruise line and are subject to their accepted payment methods and terms.
Any processing fees, bank charges, or currency conversion fees are your responsibility.

3. Cancellation, Refunds & Transfers

3.1 General Policies

All required deposits are non-refundable.
By registering, you acknowledge the cancellation and refund terms listed on the registration page for your specific Event.
Beaders Dream Retreat and Bead Cruise reserve the right to decline any registration at our discretion.

3.2 Land-Based Beaders Dream Retreat Events

Each Retreat will list its own cancellation window and deadlines. In general, deposits are non-refundable and no refunds are issued within a specified period (for example, within 60 days of the event).
When allowed by the specific event policy, fully paid registrations may be transferred to another attendee if you are unable to attend. In such cases, you are responsible for all financial arrangements with your replacement.
Registrations may not be transferred from one Retreat to a different event unless explicitly stated.

3.3 Bead Cruise Events

Cancellation and transfer policies for the cruise portion are governed by the cruise line and the group travel advisor. Additional non-refundable fees and cancellation charges may apply to the cruise portion.
In most cases, cruise reservations cannot simply be “transferred” to another person; they must be canceled and rebooked through the travel advisor following cruise line policies.
Any transfer of the retreat portion of a Bead Cruise event must be coordinated with both the travel advisor and Beaders Dream Retreat, and all financial arrangements between you and your replacement are your responsibility.
PayPal or payment processor refunds (if applicable) may be subject to processing fees, which are non-refundable.

3.4 Event Postponement or Cancellation by Organizer

If state, local, venue, ship, or health mandates prevent an Event from being held on the scheduled dates, we may postpone the Event to a future date rather than cancel.
If a Retreat has already been paid in full to the venue, your registration will typically roll over to the next available date for that specific Event.
Registrations generally cannot be transferred from a postponed Event to a different Event unless expressly stated.
If we must cancel an Event in its entirety (and not simply postpone), retreat fees you have paid to Beaders Dream Retreat for that Event will be refunded in full. Cruise or travel-related refunds are subject to the policies of the cruise line, airline, hotel, and/or travel advisor.

3.5 Changes to Instructors, Classes, or Itinerary

Occasionally, an instructor may become unable to teach due to illness, travel issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we may provide a substitute instructor, modify the class format (including virtual instruction), or adjust the schedule. These changes do not typically warrant a refund.
We reserve the right to modify class offerings, schedules, and special activities as necessary while preserving the overall quality of the Event experience.

4. Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates donated to, awarded at, or redeemed for any Beaders Dream Retreat or Bead Cruise event are non-transferable. They are issued exclusively to the individual whose name appears on the certificate or who officially wins the certificate.

The gift certificate may not be given, sold, reassigned, or transferred to another person.
Only the original recipient may apply the certificate toward event fees or eligible purchases.
Identification may be required to redeem the certificate.

This policy helps us maintain accurate event records and ensures fair distribution of donated items. By accepting or using a gift certificate, you agree to these terms.

5. Travel Insurance & Personal Responsibility

We strongly recommend purchasing travel and/or cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of illness, travel disruption, family emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances.
Neither Beaders Dream Retreat, Bead Cruise, Beki Haley Designs, our instructors, our travel partners, nor any related parties can be held responsible for your personal travel arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, transportation, or any associated costs due to delays, cancellations, or changes.
You are responsible for complying with all passport, visa, vaccination, and travel requirements for the destination(s) of your Event.

6. Health & Safety

You agree to comply with all health and safety requirements issued by the Event venue, cruise line, local authorities, and event organizers. These may include mask mandates, testing requirements, vaccination policies, or other measures in effect at the time of the Event.
Health and safety requirements are subject to change based on current conditions and regulations. We will communicate significant changes as promptly as possible, but it is your responsibility to stay informed.
If you are feeling unwell or have reason to believe you may be contagious, you agree to follow recommended guidelines and any instructions from organizers or venue staff, which may include masking, testing, isolation, or limiting participation.

7. Participant Conduct

We are committed to creating a welcoming, creative, and respectful environment for all participants. By attending an Event, you agree to:

Treat fellow attendees, instructors, staff, and venue personnel with courtesy and respect.
Refrain from harassing, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
Follow all classroom guidelines, studio rules, and equipment usage instructions.
Respect quiet hours, shared spaces, and any posted venue rules.

The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive, without refund.

8. Photography, Video & Media Use

Photos and videos may be taken during Events for documentation and promotional purposes.
By attending, you grant permission for your image to appear in Event photos or videos that may be used on websites, social media, newsletters, or printed materials.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us at or before the Event so we can make reasonable efforts to honor your request.
Recording or distributing class content (video or step-by-step photos) without explicit permission from the instructor is not allowed.

9. Class Materials, Kits & Intellectual Property

Class kits are mandatory for most Events and are sold separately unless otherwise stated.
Patterns, instructions, class handouts, and project designs are the intellectual property of the instructor and/or Beaders Dream Retreat.
Purchasing a kit or attending a class grants you a personal license to make the project for your own use, gifting, or personal display.
Reproducing, teaching, publishing, or selling the patterns or projects (in whole or in part) without written permission from the designer is prohibited.
Resale of kits or class instructions may be restricted; please refer to any designer-specific terms provided with your materials.

10. Website Use & Content

All content on BeadersDreamRetreat.com, including text, images, logos, graphics, and layouts, is owned by or licensed to Beaders Dream Retreat and/or Beki Haley Designs, unless otherwise noted.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use related to our Events and services.
Copying, reposting, modifying, or redistributing website content without prior written permission is not allowed.
You agree not to introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or misuse any part of the Site.

11. Liability, Assumption of Risk & Indemnity

You acknowledge that travel, in-person gatherings, and hands-on creative activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, property damage, and travel disruption.
By attending an Event, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that Beaders Dream Retreat, Bead Cruise, Beki Haley Designs, our instructors, staff, venues, travel partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from or related to your participation, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the organizers and related parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your actions, your travel, or your participation in the Event.

12. Changes to These Terms & How to Contact Us

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our Events, policies, or applicable laws.
The version posted on this Site at the time of your registration will generally govern your participation in that specific Event.
Material changes may be highlighted on the Site or via email notifications when appropriate.
