Rachel grew up surrounded by women who created. Her mother, Melody's sister is a talented artist, her grandmother loved to sew and quilt, and Melody is proficient in a number of hand-crafts both fiber and bead related, but she also sewed clothing for me from the time I was born until well into high school.
One of my earliest memories was how protective she was of her scissors.
We all knew exactly how much trouble we would be in if we used her fabric scissors for anything other than cutting fabric!
